ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION

Hamilton County Public Health is accepting applications for the Director of Epidemiology and Assessment in the Department of Community Health Services. Requirements include: Master’s Degree in Epidemiology, Public Health or related field, 2 years management experience and strong analytical skills.  Five years of experience in Healthcare, Public Health or related field preferred.  Data collection, storage, and analysis experience a must.  This is an exempt position.  Only non-tobacco user need apply. EOE

Job duties included but are not limited to:

  • Supervise day to day activities of Epidemiology and Assessment Division staff; manage division budget
  • Oversee Epidemiology division and related activities in areas of infectious disease, injury, chronic diseases, emergency preparedness, and informatics
  • Directs the preparation of monthly reports
  • Collaborate with local and state public health colleagues, community agencies, and local academic institutions
  • Provide support for public health emergencies
