ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION

Hamilton County Public Health is accepting applications for the Director of Epidemiology and Assessment in the Department of Community Health Services. Requirements include: Master’s Degree in Epidemiology, Public Health or related field, 2 years management experience and strong analytical skills. Five years of experience in Healthcare, Public Health or related field preferred. Data collection, storage, and analysis experience a must. This is an exempt position. Only non-tobacco user need apply. EOE

Job duties included but are not limited to:

Supervise day to day activities of Epidemiology and Assessment Division staff; manage division budget
Oversee Epidemiology division and related activities in areas of infectious disease, injury, chronic diseases, emergency preparedness, and informatics
Directs the preparation of monthly reports
Collaborate with local and state public health colleagues, community agencies, and local academic institutions
Provide support for public health emergencies
