Employment Category: Part-Time
Hours: 24 hours per week, 8:00-4:00 occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
Pay Range: Negotiable based on qualification and experience

Essential Duties:
- Conducts intermittent and follow-up STS inspections and Nuisance Complaint inspections using a camera and checklist for further Environmental Health Director review. These activities can include measuring distances, dye testing, and lifting septic tank lids.
- Under supervision of the Environmental Health Director, consults with Real Estate agents regarding archived STS files of record; obtains water samples for pending property transfers; and submits lab results and Real Estate STS inspections to Environmental Health Director for final approval/disapproval.
- Participates in Vector control/surveillance activities.
- Coordinates commercial plumbing backflow program.
- Under supervision of the Environmental Health Director, follows-up on Animal Bite Reports and coordinates specimen collection/submission via a courier to ODH lab.
- Assistance with the Administrative Support position to include file reviews for completeness. Further assists with data management activities.
- Prepares and maintains Real Estate and Nuisance Complaint inspection reports and all supporting documentation.
- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
- Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that pertain to essential functions.
Minimum Experience/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED with College degree preferred
- Must have a valid Ohio driver's license with ongoing proof of auto insurance and be able to travel with reliable transportation.
- Must pass a law enforcement criminal background check.
- Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
