Salary Range:  Pay scale 3
Hours of Work:  8:30 am – 4:30 pm.  Will require some evenings and weekends

Job Duties:

Performs comprehensive public health clinical nursing services to eligible residents of Stark County following local, state and federal grant guidelines.  Assignments will include variety of programs including but not limited to reproductive health, school nursing, infectious disease, prenatal, child health, lead, immunizations, CMH, and WIC.    

• Works as a part of a multidisciplinary team in the clinical setting
• Provides health education to individuals and families and makes referrals to other health or social service agencies
• Responsible for clinic preparation and follow-up with individuals and families
• Maintains clinical records and documentation
• Will travel to and from clinical locations as necessary
• Assists the nursing administration in the planning and development of nursing programs according to needs of the community
• Other duties as assigned by the Nursing Director/Unit Manager/Program Coordinator and or the Health Commissioner

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
• 1-2 Years experience in public heath preferred.
• Skills necessary in teaching, public speaking, public relations, writing and communication.
• Must be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Must have: reliable transportation / valid Ohio Drivers License / proof of auto insurance/ fully vaccinated for COVID-19
