Seeking qualified candidates for the position of Full Time Environmental Health Technician.

Must be detail oriented, organized, possess strong oral and written communication skills, excellent time management skills, and strong customer service skills. High School diploma or equivalent required. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds necessary. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products and the ability to quickly adapt to new technology is preferred.

All candidates must hold a current, valid Ohio driver’s license and have access to a dependable motor vehicle.

Primary job responsibilities will include preparing, documenting, and maintaining accurate records related to the Septic System Operation & Maintenance Program and working in the Williams County Health Department Solid Waste Reduction and Recycling Program. Successful applicants will be able to maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors, and other governmental officials. This is not an inclusive list of responsibilities and other duties may be assigned as needed. A full position description is available by request.

Hours:   Monday – Friday, 8:30-5:00. This position is full-time at 37.5 hours per week. May include occasional evening and weekend work.

Salary Range: $18.00-$19.34 per hour
