Accepting Applications for Full Time Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coordinator.

Applications are being accepted for this 40 hour per week position. Responsibilities
include development, planning and coordinating public health emergency preparedness response for acts of bioterrorism, outbreaks of infectious disease and other public health threats and emergencies. Preparedness will include assessment, plan development, training, education and communications.

Qualifications include knowledge of public health and/or health care operations, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to coordinate and plan services with a broad range of agencies. Bachelor’s degree desirable. Must be organized, flexible and able to function independently. Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto liability insurance. Prefer individual with public health, environmental health and safety, and/or emergency preparedness planning background.
