Childhood and Youth Wellness Coordinator

Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or related field.
• Experience in childhood health programs or service.
• Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy in word processing, and data management. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
• Valid Driver’s License with driving privileges in the State of Ohio, reliable transportation and insurable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Public Health or a related field.
• Experience in program evaluations.

 Responsibilities: 

1	Responsible for assessment of all TLCHD programs to ascertain the connections and resources available to address childhood and youth wellness issues.
2	Work with current community partners and form new partnerships to help address childhood wellness issues.
3	Work with organizations to provide resources and help foster proper behaviors to good health.
4	Creates a sustainable program within TLCHD which can deliver current and future services.
5	Use all methods of media to market and deliver services.
6	Works with TLCHD Medical and Programmatic Subject Matter Experts to improve childhood health outcomes in Lucas County.
7	Will serve as TLCHD’s ambassador to pre-conception to 18 year old’s health and wellbeing.
8	Use data and data tools to understand and respond to childhood health issues.
9	Establishes appropriate databases.
10	Work with TLCHD staff and others to set quantifiable metrics that are used to measure and evaluate the improvement of childhood wellness from work done in the program
