Program Manager – WIC

The Delaware Public Health District seeks a F/T Program Manager for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Unit within the Preventative Health Division.  This position is responsible for programming and personnel issues at the unit level as it relates to WIC as well as administering the WIC grant and meeting all grant requirements.  

The successful candidate must be able to communicate professionally and effectively both orally and in writing.  

Requirements:

Position must be a RD/LD, DTR, holder of a 4-year dietetics degree, or Registered Nurse.  Preference will be given based on the Ohio WIC Manual for filling WIC project directors. 

Bachelor's degree in field of public health, health or business/public administration, preventative medicine, social work, nursing, environmental health, public policy or other health-related field required.  Three to five years' relevant experience required.  Possession of a valid driver's license and current auto liability insurance required.  One year supervision experience preferred.  

Pay and Benefits:

  • Starting pay is $29.00/hour, may be adjusted commensurate with experience
