Public Health Nurse

You’ll provide a wide array of public health nursing services focusing on prevention, including but not limited to vaccinations, home visiting, and case management. You must possess excellent assessment skills and have experience across the lifespan. Equally important is your ability to work independently in challenging situations. You will need an aptitude for communication both verbal and written.
The successful candidate should be qualified in intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intradermal injections; able to do finger sticks; and have CPR certification. Because you will frequently be traveling, you also must have a valid drivers’ license for Ohio.
PHN 1: Current RN license required. Ability to receive Bachelor's degree in Nursing or other health related field within 3 years of date of hire required. Less than 1 year relevant experience required. Pay grade begins at $22.55/hour commensurate with experience.
PHN 2: Current RN license and Bachelor's degree in Nursing or other health related field required. 1-3 years relevant experience required. Pay grade begins at $27.05/hour commensurate with experience.
PHN 3: Current RN license and Bachelor's degree in Nursing or other health related field required. 3+ years relevant experience required. Pay grade begins at $31.55/hour commensurate with experience.
