Public Health Nurse – Infectious Disease

You’ll provide a wide array of public health nursing services focusing on prevention, including
but not limited to: case management, disease investigation, and delivering education to
healthcare providers, schools, and local partners. This is a unique chance to participate in true

You must possess excellent assessment skills and have experience across the lifespan. Equally
important is your ability to work independently in challenging situations. You will need an
aptitude for communication both verbal and written.  
PHN 1: Current RN and driver’s licenses required.  Ability to receive Bachelor's degree in
Nursing or other health related field within 3 years of date of hire required.  Less than 1 year
public health experience required.  Pay grade begins at $22.55/hour commensurate with
experience. 
PHN 2: Current RN and driver’s licenses required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing or other health
related field required.  1-3 years public health experience required.  Pay grade begins at
$27.05/hour commensurate with experience.
PHN 3: Current RN and driver’s licenses required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing or other health
related field required.  3+ years public health experience required.  Pay grade begins at
$31.55/hour commensurate with experience.
