ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION

Hamilton County Public Health is accepting applications for the Director of Harm Reduction in the Department of Community Health Services. Minimum requirements include: a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in public health, public administration, social sciences or related field; and two (2) years of management experience. Master’s Degree Preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residency.

Job duties included but are not limited to:

  • Manages, directs, and coordinates activities and staff of the Harm Reduction Division including the Exchange Project, Naloxone Distribution and Harm Reduction Outreach.
  • Collects and analyzes data to identify community needs prior to planning.
  • Prepares and manages assigned grants.
  • Prepares budget requests and projections; prepares various reports for the Agency and other stakeholders.
  • Researches funding opportunities and prepares funding proposals.
