Job Duties:
- Planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating communicable disease investigations;
- Using electronic disease reporting systems following CCPH, Ohio Department of Health, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and protocols;
- Educating clients on health issues related to disease prevention;
- Maintaining data for preparing reports, program planning, evaluating services and quality assurance;
- Administering vaccinations to children and adults;
- Participating in emergency preparedness activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing (preferred) and/or two years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience;
- Ohio license to practice as a Registered Nurse (Section 4723.01 of Ohio Revised Code);
- Knowledge and skill in vaccine administration (preferred);
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team;
- Possess strong organizational skills, have basic computer skills, and be able to manage multiple tasks effectively;
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license;
- Required to have regular and predictable attendance.
