TITLE:                                          Part-Time Dental Hygienist

PAY RANGE:                               $27.33 to $ 38.25 Per Hour

                                                      Salary to commensurate with experience

WORK HOURS:                           8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. or comparable schedule    

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:      Chief Operating Officer

GENERAL SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Under the general supervision of a Dentist and using established dental hygiene protocols and procedures, the Dental Hygienist provides professional, high-quality dental care and education to a broad range of patients within the scope of service consistent with accepted standards of care. This position offers support where needed to ensure smooth, efficient running of Dental Health Services with in the Health Center and participates in the ongoing evaluation of operations to assure the delivery of high-quality services that support the financial sustainability. Evaluates patients and implements treatment regimens under the supervision of the Dentist. Provides complete documentation of all findings, treatments and outcomes.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) from an accredited school of dental hygiene program with a current license to practice in the state of Ohio
• CPR certification
• Valid Ohio driver’s license
• Proof of automobile insurance
• Clear record with Ohio State Dental Board
• The ability to successfully pass a background check
• COVID-19 vaccination or eligibility for medical or religious exemption required.
