POSITION INTRODUCTION

The Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) Coordinator is a grant funded position and is responsible for assuring all deliverables tied to the funding source are completed in a timely manner. The PHEP Coordinator will assure that all emergency preparedness plans are completed, kept current, are disseminated, and that staff are appropriately trained with regard to the plans and to appropriate NIMS capabilities to be able to execute the plans in the event of a public health emergency. The PHEP Coordinator is organizationally positioned within the Leadership and reports directly to the Health Commissioner
