Job Description: We are looking for a full-time (40 hours/week) dedicated Program Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our Mobility Management grant. The primary purpose of the Mobility Manager is to be the centralized point of contact for all transportation in the County. The Mobility Manager communicates necessary information with riders and transportation entities and develops and implements a coordinated transportation plan for the County. This position reports to the Public Health Education and Nursing (PHEN) Director.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze data about transportation operations in the County
- Research options and trends in transportation
- Update Coordinated Transportation Plan for the county informed by data and research.
- Identify and outline transportation needs in the county
- Obtain and maintain accurate information regarding use and eligibility of community transportation resources
- Refer and assist riders obtaining transportation and eligibility
- Assist and provide education to transportation users
- Coordinate communication between all sources of transportation
- Represent transportation entities in a professional and positive manner
- Assist in the development of short and long-range measurable goals and objectives and take responsibility to attain those
- Manage and communicate details for all trainings, meetings and presentations
- Design pamphlets, flyers and written reports in an attractive and professional
- Ensure all written communication is proof read and professionally
- Attain and maintain knowledge relative to transportation to include laws, state rules, and local policies and procedures.
- Determine and meet goal deadlines and communicate the follow up information to appropriate
- Take ownership and responsibility for projects and programs by tracking progress and barriers to programs implemented for transportation
- Seek funding opportunities for transportation
- Manage budget and expenditures. Keep a balanced
Qualifications:
Entry level grant coordination, public health education and community engagement position with no previous experience in health education or public health required
- Associate degree in business administration, health education, social work, general education, or related field required
- Baccalaureate degree in business administration, health education, social work, general education, or related field preferred
- Proficient at public speaking and creating presentations, organized, adept at customer service and have the ability to work with a diverse group of multi-level professionals and community members
- Knowledge of program management and/or grant coordination, preferred
- Knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping and reporting; use of computer technology and ability to use Microsoft Office or Google Docs software programs a must
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and problem-solve effectively

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) with normal hours M – F 8am – 4:30pm. (Hours may vary) based on need.
