Starting Salary: $18.06/hour; $37,564.80/Annual
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Public Health or Social Services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Word/Excel/Access/PowerPoint
- Current valid Ohio driver’s license & access to a motor vehicle
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health or Social Services
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Collecting a variety of outcome measures supporting the activities of a Naloxone distribution project aka “Project Save of Miami Valley”
- Conducting qualitative interviews with individuals who have experienced an overdose save at time of intake, at 6 months, and discharge from outreach services and preparing interview summary reports for the Evaluator
- Conducting qualitative interviews with first responders, friends and family members of individuals who have experienced an overdose save, and other pertinent community members
- Maintaining a secure database of clients referred to Project Save
- Tracking and collecting data related to Naloxone training, distribution and usage by first responders
- Tracking and collecting data related to Naloxone training and distribution to family and friends of individuals who have experienced an overdose save and to community members
- Participating in staff, community, and project team meetings
- Collaborating with the Lead Evaluator and Epidemiology staff as needed
- Inputting performance measures into SAMSHA’s Performance Accountability and Reporting System (PARS) weekly
- Frequent travel to multiple counties outside of the Dayton area
- May be required to play an active role in the event of a public health emergency, which may include changes in responsibilities and working hours
