The Morrow County Health District is currently seeking an Emergency Preparedness Planner. This position could be part time up to full time.
Position Summary: Overseeing emergency preparedness planning for both Morrow and Marion counties; developing/updating public health emergency response plans for agency; meeting requirements/deliverables for the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP), City Readiness Initiative (CRI), Community Healthcare Coalition (CHC), and Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) grants; planning and facilitating emergency preparedness related trainings, drills, workshops, and exercises for staff and community; managing and tracking emergency preparedness supply inventory; and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in science, health, business or related course of study required. A minimum of 6 months experience in writing plans, IS 100, IS 700 and emergency management experience highly preferred.
