Emergency Preparedness Coordinator/Accreditation Coordinator

Paulding County Health Department is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator/Accreditation Coordinator.  Candidate must possess a High School Diploma.  Bachelor’s Degree in public health, emergency management, biology, or another science-related field is preferred.  Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle.  Individual under direction of the Deputy Health Commissioner, administers the Public Health Preparedness program and ensures all required deliverables are met and develop and revise plans.  Additionally, this individual provides emergency preparedness training to staff, and works closely with co-workers and county partners.  Individual under the direction of the Deputy Health Commissioner will coordinate the PHAB Accreditation efforts of the agency.  This position will be responsible for aiding domain teams, submitting appropriate documentation to meet PHAB standards and measures.  Additionally, this individual will work with the community to provide health education by providing information and education to the public and partner agencies.  This position is full time with benefits.  Bi-lingual is welcome but not required.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  Please send resume and cover letter to:  Brandi Schrader, Deputy Health Commissioner, 800 E.
