Emergency Response Coordinator
The Brown County Health Department is seeking candidates for a full time Emergency Response Coordinator (ERC) position. This is a full-time, grant funded position.
ERC Responsibilities: Plans and implements exercises and response training for agency staff, healthcare associations, public safety forces and other stakeholders with respect to biological, chemical, or natural disasters. Assists with preparing and monitoring related grants. Reviews and updates response plans as necessary. Maintain inventory of preparedness supplies and equipment. Serves as the Public Information Officer for the health department, coordinates Medical Reserve Corps volunteers, and serves on the local emergency planning committee. Any and all other duties as required under the PHEP Grant or as directed and respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications: Experience in public safety, grants, public relations, public health, or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred or related progressive experience. Experience with basic computer operations as well as Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
