Community Health Center Clinical Supervisor

Knox Public Health is currently seeking an individual for the Community Health Center Clinical Supervisor.

Responsibilities of this position will include but may not be limited to:

Plan, develop, implement, and manage the Community Health Center medical services by assuring programs follow standards and written grant performance objectives
Directs division staff in implementation of program standards
Completes employee evaluations and competencies of clinical staff
Utilizes data collection and assessments
Communicates and collaborates with other divisions within the agency
Implements agency policy and procedures
Maintains knowledge of current standards of care and best clinical practices
Works closely with the clinical director, agency medical director and nurse practitioners

Requirements/Qualifications:

Currently licensed by the State of Ohio Board of Nursing
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, health administration, public health or related field, preferred
Master’s Degree in those areas can replace 2 years of required management experience
Current knowledge of the nursing role and scope of practice as defined by the State of Ohio Nurse Practice Act and the Ohio Board of Nursing
Current knowledge of the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics
Demonstrates critical thinking skills to deliver safe, quality patient care and excellent customer service
Data collection, evaluation, and review

Experience:

At least ten (10) years of public health, nursing or health-related field experience preferred, with at least 3 years of management and/or supervisory responsibilities required
Electronic medical record experience
Grant writing, program planning and budget management is a plus.

Individual needs to possess ability to work autonomously, strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills and excellent computer technology skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the public.

This position is regular, full-time 40 hours per week, usually in eight (8) hour shifts, subject to a rotating, or flexible day-time shift schedule; may work additional hours, evenings, and/or weekends as required.
