Knox Public Health has a job opening for a full-time Environmental Health Specialist in our Environmental Health division.
Responsibilities of this position will include but not be limited to:
Requirements/Qualifications: Applicant must be an Environmental Health Specialist in Training or Registered Environmental Health Specialist, or meet the requirements of the State of Ohio Sanitarian Registration Board to become an Environmental Health Specialist in Training or Registered Environmental Health Specialist. Requirements of this position are a Bachelor’s degree or higher in science related field, with 2 years’ experience preferred. Applicant must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, (i.e. Word, Excel) & Google docs and have excellent computer skills. This position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks in an efficient and accurate manner and the ability to communicate effectively with the public
This position is regular, full-time 40 hours per week, usually in eight (8) hour shifts, subject to a rotating, or flexible day-time shift schedule; may work additional hours, evenings, and/or weekends as required.
