The Holmes County General Health District is seeking an experienced a Public Health Nurse to perform a variety of duties within a community setting. Job duties for this position are not limited to but including: COVID-19 Case management, health screenings and health education, assisting with outreach immunization clinics, volunteer management of Medical Reserve Corps, communicable disease prevention and investigations.
The Public Health Nurse position requires a current Ohio LPN or RN license, valid Ohio Driver’s license and proof of insurance. Experience in Public Health Nursing preferred. The successful candidate would be self-motivated, possess strong writing and communication skills, bilingual skills (Spanish or Pennsylvania Dutch) is a plus, a professional attitude, willingness to expand their knowledge as a nursing professional, and a passion for community health.
