Pay Rate: Commensurate on experience and qualifications
General Description: Under direct supervision of the Director of Environmental Health, the Registered Sanitarian functions as a member of the Environmental Health (EH) team. A Registered Sanitarian is responsible for providing Environmental Health services to the public, which includes education and training as a strategy to achieve compliance of regulated entities to pertinent environmental health codes and healthy practices.
Minimum qualifications: Licensed Registered Environmental Health Sanitarian (REHS) with the State of Ohio and a valid Ohio driver’s license are required. One year of environmental health experience preferred. Consideration will be given to those who may be able to obtain licensure as outlined by the Ohio Board of Sanitarian Registration.
Selection procedure: Selection will be based on combination of relevant experience and ability as assessed by the leadership team.
