Description
The Delaware Public Health District seeks a full-time Public Health Nurse to conduct nursing services within a community setting. This position will perform personal health services to assure compliance with applicable national, state, and local personal health standards. Job duties may include but not be limited to: working with the Delaware County Healthcare Coalition to engage members and provide guidance, disease prevention, contact tracing, monitoring the ill, education, facility reviews, and preparing and responding to outbreaks.
Typical Qualifications
PHN 1: Current RN license required. Less than one-year relevant experience required.
PHN 2: Current RN license and Bachelor's degree in Nursing or other health related field (public health, nutrition, pharmacy, etc.) required. One to three years relevant experience required.
Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
