Public Health Nurse

Cambridge-Guernsey County Health Department

Full-Time (40 hours per week)

The Cambridge -Guernsey County Health Department’s mission statement is:  To improve quality of life for Guernsey County by promoting health, preventing disease, and ensuring a safe environment.         

The Public Health Nurse duties include: 

• Provide immunizations to children and adults
• Provide care in the General Medical and Family Planning clinics
• Provide education and appropriate resources to clients, families, and community members pertaining to health conditions and other relevant public health topics

• Accurately document in Electronic Medical Health Record systems
• Participate in other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Current and unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid Ohio Driver’s license and ability to meet insurability requirements

Hiring Salary:  $21.00
