Health Communication Specialist

Ross County Health District

The Ross County Health District is actively seeking a motivated Health Communication Specialist (HCS) to join our team as a member of the Administration Division. The HCS will assist the health district with communication, messaging, outreach, and graphic design needs.

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Health Commissioner, the Health Communication Specialist plans, organizes and implements all communication, marketing, graphic design and media relations activities for the department to assure a comprehensive approach to promote and raise awareness about the programs and services provided by Ross County Health District. They establish and continue positive relationships with the public and mass media on behalf of RCHD as designated. The Health Communication Specialist focuses on providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers in accordance with the mission, core values, and purposes of Ross County Health District.

Pay Range: $20.56-$24.67/hour- 40 Hours/Week

Hours: Full-time, non-Exempt, non-classified, Occasional weekend or afterhours required
