NOW HIRING: Registered Sanitarian, Sanitarian-in-Training I or II
Full (40 hours) positions available in our Food Safety section and Water Quality section.
- Food Safety: The Sanitarian-in-Training or Registered Sanitarian is responsible for inspecting, investigating and enforcing Ohio Administrative Code, Ohio Revised Code and/or Franklin County District Board of Health Sanitary Regulations pertaining to food service operations and retail food establishments.
- Water Quality: The Registered Sanitarian or Sanitarian-in-Training is responsible for inspecting, investigating and enforcing Ohio Administrative Code, Ohio Revised Code and/or Franklin County District Board of Health Sanitary Regulations pertaining to private water systems and sewage treatment systems.
Requirements:
- Must be a Sanitarian-In-Training or Registered Sanitarian with the state of Ohio
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Physics, Math, or Statistics approved by the Sanitarian Board
- Experience with the applicable codes preferable
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, and be insurable through FCPH’s provider
- Some overtime and weekend hours may be required
Salary: $19.24 - $24.06/hour for Sanitarian-in-Training; $21.17-26.46/hour for Registered Sanitarian I; $23.28-29.11/hour for Registered Sanitarian II. This is a non-exempt position.
