The Medina County Health Department, a nationally accredited health department, has a career opening for a full-time, exempt, Health Center Executive Director. The Health Center Executive Director provides leadership, vision, and direction for our Federally Qualified Health Center (Look-Alike) and develops the Centers’ strategy. The Health Center Executive Director also implements policies approved by a Board of Directors, manages the Centers’ programs and operations, and seeks opportunities to develop projects and partnerships that further the Centers’ mission.
Master’s degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration or related health care field with equivalent experience; and five or more years experience in hospital, clinic, or community health center administration with management responsibilities and Board of Directors contact; or Bachelor’s degree and seven or more years’ experience in hospital, clinic, or health center administrative position required.
