ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

Job Duties:
Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of public administration with special reference to governmental budget management and governmental accounting; knowledge of grant and contract preparation and administration; knowledge of purchasing principles and procedures; some knowledge of human resources and payroll practices and procedures; considerable interpersonal skills; considerable oral and written communication skills; considerable ability in preparation and analysis of financial and statistical reports; ability to understand and apply relevant state and federal laws, statutes and regulations. Responsibilities include other duties as assigned including but not limited to participating in Accreditation requirements and responding to emergency events.

Minimum Qualifications:       
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field with a minimum of six to eight years’ experience in financial management and three years supervisory experience required.

Valid driver’s license.

Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred and will be consider in lieu of one year of the required supervisory experience.                                      

Work Schedule:
Typically, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., with one-hour unpaid lunch. Work hours, days and times will vary based on the work requirements.
