Job Duties: Conducts plumbing inspections, reviews and approves plans, drawings and specifications for plumbing installations for compliance with state and local laws, codes, and regulations; and plumbing specifications as requested under general supervision of the Environmental Health Director. Responsibilities include other duties as assigned including but not limited to participating in Accreditation requirements and responding to emergency events.

Minimum Qualifications: Ohio Department of Commerce plumbing inspector certification with seven years of experience in the installation of plumbing; or degree in engineering or architecture with three years of experience in plumbing system design, estimating or supervision of plumbing installation. Valid driver’s license.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., with one-hour unpaid lunch.
