City of Ironton Health Department is currently seeking a Registered Sanitarian
This position is responsible for conducting inspections and plan reviews of food service operations/retail food establishments, swimming pools, campgrounds, tattoo/body art facilities and vending sites. Explains and interprets laws and policies, initiates public health orders and recommends enforcement actions according to the Ohio Administrative Code, Ohio Revised Code and/or city of Ironton Board of Health Sanitary Regulations.
Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively both orally and in writing. Ohio driver license, and State of Ohio Registered Sanitarian license as State of Ohio requires. Minimum of 0-5 years experience required, depending on position.
