The Van Wert County General Health District is seeking a full-time administrator who will be responsible for day-to-day management of the department and to assure the achievement of program objectives and the overall mission. The administrator works under the Health Commissioner and assumes all duties (except the Medical Director) of the Health Commissioner in his absence and supervises all staff within the department.
Some responsibilities would be to evaluate operations and to determine staffing needs, continually assess operations of the Health District, develop and foster working relationships with local agencies, private providers, and community groups. Will serve as an active lead for achieving accreditation of the Van Wert County General Health District and various other duties to lead the health department.

Education Minimum: Bachelor’s degree. Masters of Public Health preferred.
