Minimum qualifications for Registered Sanitarian include a valid registration issued by the State Board of Sanitarian Registration; knowledge of state and local codes (after training) and regulations in the areas of household sewage, private water, public swimming pools, parks and camps, and other programs within the health district jurisdiction.
Minimum qualifications for Sanitarian-in-Training include a valid registration issued by the State Board of Sanitarian Registration; experience with another local health department or have performed as an intern with a local health department.
Full time (40 hours per week) with benefits package including OPERS and health insurance.
