POSITION: Public Health Registered Dietitian
AGENCY: Warren County Health District
DEPARTMENT: Nursing: Prevention Division
LOCATION: 416 South East Street, Lebanon, Ohio
HOURS: Full-Time 37.5 hours/week, Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
(Optional for 4 Day work week)
PAY GRADE: Pay Grade 7,($28.25 - $37.40 hourly) plus full WCHD Benefits
(Starting pay is commensurate with experience)
POSTING PERIOD: This notice is being posted for a period of time not less than seven (7) consecutive calendar days beginning 05/21/2025 and until position is filled.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in nutrition/dietetics program. Must maintain Registration with the American Dietetic Association; maintain Dietitian license issued by Ohio Board of Dietetics per Section ORC 4759.06; must possess a valid driver’s license and meet the insurability requirements of the district’s insurance provider. One (1) year experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES:
Good oral and written communication skills; Occupational Safety and Health Administration rules and regulations; first aid practices; medical technology; personal hygiene; community resources and services; grant writing; basic office practices including computer skills; English grammar and spelling; records management; human relations; counseling; interviewing; sociology; nutrition; public relations; case management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Nursing over Prevention responsible for planning/conducting individual nutrition education and/or group nutrition education classes; provides educational presentations for community and other county agencies; attends committee meetings.
