The Delaware Public Health District is seeking a talented Medical Reserve Corps Coordinator to make a demonstrated difference in our organization along with the lives of those in the 15 County region. In this role, you’ll plan and help coordinate the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) in the central region of Ohio and lead efforts including recruitment, training, engagement, and retention of the MRC. The central region includes Wyandot, Crawford, Hardin, Marion, Morrow, Logan, Union, Knox, Madison, Franklin, Licking, Fayette, Pickaway, Fairfield, and Delaware.
Your abilities will be on display as you help coordinate staff and volunteers, support the development of policies and protocols, and create and implement MRC initiatives in accordance with state and federal guidelines. You’ll also be called upon to develop and guide grant deliverables as prescribed by state and federal authorities.
This position is grant funded and the current grant runs from 01/01/2024 - 05/31/2025. Retention and development are dependent upon grant funds.
Requirements
Community Health Specialist 1: Bachelor's degree in public health or related field. Possession of a valid driver's license and current auto liability insurance. Less than 1 year relevant experience required. Pay grade begins at $22.55/hour commensurate with experience.
