Hamilton County Public Health, a Nationally Accredited and award winning health district, is accepting applications for an Assistant Health Commissioner- Community Health Services. Staff in the department of Community Health Services work to improve the health of Hamilton County residents through education programs and services that address substance use disorders, immunizations, nutrition, chronic disease and wellness, communicable disease transmission, access to health care, maternal and child health and much more. Requirements include: Master’s Degree from an accredited college in Public Health, Public Administration, Health Policy or Administration or related degrees with emphasis in community health, biological sciences or other related fields; five (5) years of administrative or supervisory responsibility. Must have valid driver’s license issued in the state of residency and must be willing to serve in the unclassified civil service.
