Position: Epidemiologist
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
FT 40 hours/week
Marion Public Health is seeking a full time Epidemiologist/Health Data Analyst. Marion Public Health’s goal is to become the county’s Health Data Chief Strategist. The Epidemiologist will have a key role in providing health data translation for both infectious for our Marion County community partners.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Public Health with emphasis in Epidemiology or experience working in the field of Epidemiology
- Proficient in excel and data systems
- Must have an Ohio Driver’s License and automobile insurance
- Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment physical
Preferred Requirements:
- A Master’s Degree in Public Health with an emphasis in epidemiology or like field
- Proficient in data analysis, with experience using data systems
- Experience working in the field of epidemiology or disease prevention preferred
- Ability to work independently and with an interdisciplinary team
- Effective written and oral communication skills
