Position Title: WIC Certifying Health Professional 1

Department: Women, Infant, and Children (WIC)
Immediate Supervisor: WIC Supervisor
Entry Salary: $17.13 per hour

Full-time position. Help build healthy heroes through the Value Enhanced Nutrition Assessments of women, infants and children. Support and promote breastfeeding as part of the Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) program. Health Professionals should have experience in maternal and child health nutrition, including breastfeeding and are required to be one of the following: Ohio Licensed Dietitian (LD), Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN), Ohio Registered Nurse, or Physician's Assistants (PA) certified by the State Medical Board of Ohio. Preference is given to Ohio Licensed Dietitians. Applicants with one or more years of experience in an Ohio WIC Project or within the public health system will be considered for WIC Certifying Health Professional 2 position. $17.13 per hour to start with an excellent benefits package. 180 day probationary period required.
