Starting Salary: A58: $32.13 - $44.17/hour*
$68,830.40 - $91,873.60/annual*
*Salary commensurate with Relevant Work Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Public Health, Nursing, Health Administration or related field with five years supervisory experience in working with maternal and child health services which includes 2 years of supervisory experience or closely related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Nursing with related seven years of supervisory experience
- Current valid Ohio driver’s license & access to a motor vehicle
- Current valid Registered Nursing license with the State of Ohio
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in working with maternal and child health services experience is a plus.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Responsible for directing, planning, supervising activities and staff assigned to a broad scope of services provided by the Maternal and Child Health Programs (Prenatal Outreach, Infant Mortality, School Health, Bureau of Children with Medical Handicaps).
- Developing nursing goals and objectives; ensuring program goals are obtained; developing and overseeing budget and fiscal activities
- Supervising program nursing supervisors, evaluating nursing performance and handling disciplinary issues as necessary
- Overseeing Grants and ensuring grant requirements are met
- Analyzing and determining program requirements to ensure nursing services are meeting needs of the community and vulnerable populations
- Participating on agency and various community committees which include serving on the Child Fatality Review Board and the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) task force and represent the agency
- May be required to play an active role in the event of a public health emergency, which may include changes in responsibilities and working hours
