Performance & Quality Improvement Administrator

Position to be filled: October 28, 2019
Starting Salary: $71,106 Annually
Hours: Mon. – Fri., 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Responsibilities:
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT & QUALITY IMPROVEMENT
- Oversees and monitors the development & implementation of the agency-wide performance management (PM) system and quality improvement (QI) plan.
- Designs & implements PM/QI processes, systems, communication strategies, and recognition activities.
- Coordinates the agency QI Council including the Performance Management Team.
- Designs or secures relevant PM and QI training for staff to ensure that agency-wide goals are met.
- Leads the development and preparation of proposals for funding from external resources for PM and QI initiatives and programs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Business, Public Administration or related field.
- Minimum of five years (w/Bachelor’s degree) or three years (w/Master's degree) of experience coordinating organization-wide PM, QI, and/or accreditation activities.
- Performance management and/or quality improvement certification required within two years of hire.
- Valid State of Ohio driver's license and insurance at time of appointment.
- Experience with facilitating group processes, project team development & management, and training staff.
- Knowledge of the principles and methods of performance management and process improvement.
- Knowledge of Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) accreditation process.
- Proficiency with use of PC hardware & basic software (i.e. Microsoft office), email, and office equipment.
- Strong proficiency with internal databases, online data management systems, and data collection methodology for quantitative & qualitative data.
- Expert customer service, verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills. Expert interpersonal relationship skills including cultural sensitivity & competence.
ACCREDITATION
- Serves as the CCBH subject matter expert on PHAB accreditation process and the required documentation.
- Oversees the collection and final vetting of documentation for public health accreditation and re-accreditation.
- Submits all required documentation to PHAB including registration, application materials, and documentation.
- Plans and conducts regular accreditation readiness assessments. Tracks the progress of the agency as well as projects aimed at addressing gaps in documentation.
- Organizes site visit preparation activities and presents site visit results to leadership and other stakeholders.
GENERAL DUTIES RELATED TO PM, QI AND ACCREDITATION
- Orients board, leadership, staff, teams, and other stakeholders on standards/measure processes. Provides communications to keep stakeholders apprised of agency progress.
- Participates in presentations to Board members and external audiences to report on performance management, QI, and accreditation activities. Represents CCBH on local, regional, statewide, and national committees and/or learning communities.
- Collaborates with internal and external partners on special projects as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
