Hours: Full-time position, 40 hours per week; typical normal business hours Monday thru Friday between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm
Responsibilities: Conducts inspections and enforces regulated environmental health programs. Must be well organized and demonstrate the ability to work well with the general public and private businesses.
Qualifications: Must be a Registered Sanitarian or Registered Sanitarian-in-Training in the State of Ohio. Bachelors of Science in environmental field or equivalent, basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software. A valid Ohio driver’s license, reliable transportation, proof of automobile insurance and good driving record are required.
Compensation: Registered Sanitarian candidates salary range is $42,000 to $51,000; Registered Sanitarian-in-Training candidates salary range is $40,000 to $44,000. Pay is commensurate with years of experience.
Position includes holiday pay, sick leave, vacation, PERS, and medical insurance.
