Duties Include:
This position is responsible for ensuring compliance, budgeting, and monitoring of grants and contracts. This position is accountable for processing billings, preparing financials and other reports as required by the granting agency; advising on fiscal matters as they relate to the grant; performing various analysis and special reports as needed.
NOW HIRING: Grant Management Analyst (Grant-funded position)
- This position is responsible for understanding and being able to discuss grant-funded programs within the assigned area of responsibility, including the purpose, effectiveness, staffing methodologies, numbers served, types of participants, service delivery methods, and/or other relevant information.
- Conducts grant and designated personnel analyses and projections, estimating current and future year costs under various scenarios. Runs detailed personnel- and non-personnel cost analyses to determine effectiveness of expenditures, including alignment to and support of strategic priorities and goals, as articulated in continuous improvement plans and/or grant applications.
- Manages all tracking and reporting of grant funding or revenue generated within the budget area(s) to assist with reporting and/or projections. Working closely with the assigned budget area(s) to monitor and explain variations from the budget, pressures that may lead to variations, or opportunities for savings/increased revenue throughout the year.
- This position will be responsible for using quality improvement (QI) processes and/or techniques to improve the proficiency and efficiency of the assigned areas. Utilizes appropriate methods for interacting effectively and professionally with persons of all ages and from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, educational, racial, and ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, lifestyles and physical abilities.
- Acts as interdepartmental liaison for budget development with senior staff or designee including grant management, budget variance and related expense reconciliations, contract management data. Work with staff on the life cycle of contract/grant applications, from receipt to funding; complete three review cycles per year.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Minimum of 2 (two) years’ government accounting, or financial management experience.
- Minimum of 2 (two) years’ experience with grants management or administration in a governmental environment, federal grant experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail and accuracy, customer service skills with the ability to learn new information quickly.
- Technical proficiency needed with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), databases, accounting systems.

- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for some minimum requirements.
- Non-smoker.
Hiring Wage Range: $23.28/hour - $29.11/hour. This is a non-exempt position.
