Would you like to be the Chief Nursing Officer at a Nationally-Accredited Health Department?

Columbus Public Health, the local health department in Ohio’s capital city Columbus, is looking for an Assistant Health Commissioner to serve as the Chief Nursing Officer and provide oversight for the licensing, competencies and development of CPH nurses and direction of clinical public health initiatives.  

This position also will consult with and advise the City Health Commissioner and other department leaders on policy development, planning and coordination of services, and will provide leadership for department initiatives. Additionally, this position may act for the Health Commissioner in her absence and as a clinical spokesperson for Columbus Public Health.

This is a full time position at Columbus Public Health, the health department for the 14th largest city in the U.S. Columbus Public Health -- and its team of nearly 500 professional staff members -- serves nearly 1 million residents and visitors through 40+ diverse programs.
